Ferrania Solis' photovoltaic modules have all certifications and attestations required to get the 10% increase of the feed-in tariff according to 4th Conto Energia (D.M. May 5th, 2011) and its application rules issued by GSE when using "made in EU" components. In its manufacturing plant, located in Italy (EU), Ferrania Solis S.r.l. performs all manufacturing phases listed in table 4 of the application rules issued by GSE. Our Modules, built using 156x156 mm2 polycrystalline silicon cells, passed a severe Current/Power classification in narrow ranges (5 W) to reduce mismatching losses. Their warranted output always exceeds nominal power (tolerance only in excess, e.g. 230 W, + 0÷3 %).

Product description
Our PV Modules are manufactured with high quality, high output crystalline silicon cells, individually checked. The cells are vacuum-sealed between two EVA polymer foils, and then between a high transparency tempered glass and a polymer sheet, to achieve maximum protection against severe weather conditions as well as extended lifetime.
The metallic frame is made of corrosion resistant anodized aluminum. A quick and safe installation of the modules in any application is easily realized. High static and dynamic robustness is so achieved.
The Junction box is installed on the back of the panel and contains three by-pass diodes, to guarantee safer working conditions. Two separate cables with ultra-fast fully insulated faston receptacles guarantee simple and fast modules interconnection.
Classification
At the end of the manufacturing cycle, each module passes a double check: a visual inspection and an electrical test under a solar simulator to measure the performance.
As a consequence, the modules are classified in narrow classes according to current/power ranges. The installation of modules belonging to the same class minimizes mismatching losses. Moreover, the modules always have an output tolerance exceeding their nominal value (e.g. 230 W, + 0÷3 %).
Packaging includes only homogeneous (same output) modules.
Warranty
All modules have an extended product warranty of 10 years. Modules have a 12 years Output warranty of minimum 90% of the nominal power and 25 years Output warranty of minimum 80% of the nominal power. All Product warranties are applicable only if modules were installed and utilized according to the directions for storage, assembly, use and maintenance included in the original supply package.
Conformity and Certifications
Modules are certified in compliance with international standards IEC 61215:2005, IEC 61730-2:2007 and have a Safety Class II. The junction box has an IP65 protection level
Use
Our modules are the best choice for solar fields, industrial and any kind of PV installations, for grid-connected plants or stand-alone applications. Examples include pumping stations, desalting plants, flashing traffic signs and buoys, lighting, powering off-grid villages and houses, medical installations and schools.
